Transportation Realia: Aspects & Challenges for Economic Sustainability

VII International Conference

“Transportation Realia: Aspects & Challenges for Economic Sustainability: TRACES 2023"

14 – 17 March 2023, Bangkok, Thailand & Tashkent, Uzbekistan

Dear colleagues!

We are glad that after a three-year break we can once again meet and discuss the main problems of the transport industry post-pandemic recovery and development, share the results and findings of our research, and establish new business and scientific contacts in magnificent Bangkok and forever young Tashkent!

Despite the pandemic restrictions and lockdowns, our conference was held online three times and was quite successful and representative. But we are confident that nothing can replace personal communication, we really hope that seventh conference will be more interesting and more productive than the previous ones.

The transport industry has been one of the hardest hit by the pandemic. Today, it faces the challenges of either speedy recovery or reformatting, in accordance with the new conditions of the global and regional economy, confirming its own competitiveness, searching for new sources of income and development potential.

In this regard, the international exchange of experience, knowledge, and ideas will maximally contribute both to overcoming the negative consequences that the transport industry has faced, but also to maintaining the guidelines of national and macro-regional plans of industrial development that set up in seemingly so distant pre-pandemic times.

The traditional organizers of the conference are representatives of the public education sector, scientific and innovation centers of Thailand, Serbia, Pakistan, Uzbekistan and India, countries that are actively involved in the formation or development of transport corridors and transport infrastructure of global importance, such as the projects of the West-East corridor, the Indian– Pacific  “land canal”, the southern direction of the “One Belt – One Road” strategy in Thailand; transport corridor from China to the Indian Ocean in Pakistan and Silk Way strategy in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, the Trans-Balkan Transportation Crossing in Serbia and Montenegro and the national project for the modernization of the country's transport infrastructure in India.

Our conference is traditionally recognized and supported by the Ministry of Transport and Transport Infrastructure of the Kingdom of Thailand, by the ASEAN expert and professional community.

Universities - the co-organizers of the conference - are the leaders not only in training personnel for the transport and logistics sectors, but also in the implementation of grant programs, conducting industry research with regional and national applications.

The international team of the organizing committee is represented by scientists and practitioners from ten countries of the world, including Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, who are right now ready to start reviewing the submitted papers and thesis.

As always, we guarantee hospitality, high quality papers and offline presentations, special online sessions, respected keynote speakers, a study tour to Nakhon Pathom campus of Suan Sunanda Rajabat University with visitation of laboratories and simulators for training  students of “Logistics”, "Aviation Business", "Transport Economics" programs and, of course, a gala dinner, outstanding papers awarding, honoring the most devoted friends and partners of our conference!

See you soon in Bangkok or in Tashkent!
